Hi Egor! We actually spoke back in 2011/2012 I think :). I’ve also followed along with Fairlayer and I think we share some similar ideologies when it comes to DLT systems.

I think there are a number of ways to decentralize and also decentralization is a spectrum, but I hear you.

I think the biggest thing is to make it clear to developers and users what the tradeoffs are for using various systems. If one is going to report on TPS, it should be clear what the numbers are measuring.
